On International Women's Day, we’re celebrating women who work to reimagine our broken food system every day, inspiring justice for the animals, for the environment, and for fellow humans.

International Women's Day was founded to celebrate the achievements of women who knew a more just, equitable future was possible, and worked together to make that future a reality. Today, we are still working towards a more compassionate future. We're celebrating the amazing women, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folks who are doing the work to reimagine our food system.

There are so many incredible women in this movement-from undercover investigators, to grassroots activists, to sanctuary founders, to plant-based business owners. Their work all has one thing in common: it shows us what a more compassionate future for animals will look like. Below are just some of the women, trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming folks who inspire us through their work!
