Nos entristece anunciar que, a partir del 30 de octubre de 2023, The Humane League México ha terminado operaciones. Toda nuestra gratitud al equipo y a los Creadores de cambio que han hecho una diferencia para miles de animales a través de su activismo y apoyo en todos nuestros esfuerzos, como la campaña Toca Regular, que ha presionado a las autoridades para que se generen normas claras para la producción de huevo en sistemas sin jaulas y la firma de los compromisos libres de jaula de Grupo Bimbo y Grupo Alsea, dos de los más importantes de América Latina.
El movimiento en México está creciendo, y el compromiso de quienes conformaron el equipo por seguir luchando por los animales no se acaba aquí.
Le deseamos mucha suerte al resto de las organizaciones en México, como Mercy for Animals, Alianza Alimentaria e Igualdad Animal, que continúan trabajando por los animales usados para consumo, ¡hasta que su abuso deje de existir!
We are sad to announce that, as of October 30, 2023, The Humane League Mexico has ended operations. All our gratitude to the team and the changemakers who have made a difference for thousands of animals through their activism and support in all our efforts, such as the Toca Regular campaign, which has pressured authorities to create clear standards for egg production in cage-free systems and the signing of the cage-free commitments of Grupo Bimbo and Grupo Alsea, two of the most important in Latin America.
The movement in Mexico is growing, and the commitment of those who made up the team to continue fighting for animals does not end here.
We wish all the best to other organizations in Mexico, such as Mercy for Animals, Alianza Alimentaria and Igualdad Animal, who continue to work for animals used for consumption, until the abuse of animals raised for food ceases to exist.
