We are committed
The Humane League has been dedicated to making the world a kinder place for animals since 2005 and is committed to ending the abuse of animals raised for food.
We use your donations effectively
The Humane League has been recognized by Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE) as a Top Charity for effectiveness in every eligible period since 2012, the year that ACE was founded. We strive to maximize every dollar donated to make the biggest possible impact for animals, using strategies rooted in sound research, and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of our programs.
We are transparent
We are committed to transparency in our communications with supporters and have been awarded a GuideStar seal of transparency since 2015. Throughout the year we report on how we are putting your donations to work, the impact that they are making, and our financial standing. Annual audited financial statements are published on our website. We share our research to strengthen the global movement for animals and make data from our scientific research—conducted by The Humane League Labs—available open source.
