It's the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day
Now is the time to take a stand for our planet, your health, and the animals. And it starts with one simple action. Try veg.
From the cars we drive to the straws we drink from, many of our daily staples and habits are disrupting the Earth's ecosystems.
However, many people don’t realize that animal products—from meat, to dairy, to eggs—have an even greater impact on our climate and our planet. Animal agriculture and mass industrial factory farming are the most damaging to our planet. Not only does animal agriculture produce a large portion of greenhouse gas emissions, but it also uses a substantial amount of water and energy and consumes an ever-expanding portion of the Earth’s habitable land—a serious threat to biodiversity.
With the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day approaching on April 22, 2020, and with climate change a growing concern, the single most impactful action you can take is to leave animals off your plate. Simply said, try veg!
