Mia Fernyhough

Mia Fernyhough has worked in farm animal welfare for over a decade, developing some of the most widely referenced commercial poultry welfare standards, including hatch through to slaughter. Mia has significant on-farm experience & has worked closely with industry to improve laying hen welfare nationally in the UK whilst influencing commercial standards internationally. Mia now leads THL's Global Animal Welfare team, a team focused on providing technical support, scientific rationale and strategy for securing higher welfare standards globally.
