Donate Cryptocurrencies
Donating cryptocurrency is a tax-efficient way to support our mission to end the abuse of animals raised for food. You will not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and you may deduct the value of your donated cryptocurrency from your taxes. You can use BitPay or Kraken to donate cryptocurrencies to The Humane League.
The fastest and simplest way to donate is through BitPay. BitPay accepts BTC, BCH, ETH, XRP, LTC, DAI, WBTC, DOGE, GUSD, USDC, PAX, and BUSD. Please be sure to notify us if you have made a donation via BitPay so that we may provide you with a tax receipt.
We can accept many other cryptocurrencies through Kraken. See the complete list of cryptocurrencies we can accept, then contact us at give@thehumaneleague.org or 240-200-4480 ext. 3 and let us know the currency that you would like to donate to receive the corresponding deposit address.
